Hi Bill,
I can hear your voice very clearly now. Wow, you improve your record methods. Thanks a lot. We really appreciate your efforts to teach us English. You also update key words to Advance "Pike Place Market". I just catch up the lesson today. I see your picture with Rachel, the big bronze pig. Do you like it? How do you feel about the Pike Place in Seattle? The market has one hundred history. Is it like the traditional market in Taiwan?
Cynthia
Cynthia,
Thanks for the compliments! Well, I like Rachel the pig--she's cute. And I do like Pike Place Market--it's a fun place to go shopping for lots of things, particularly specialty items. The old buildings in the area have a real charm, and the overall atmosphere of the market is great. It's different from a traditional market place in Taiwan--one thing is the prices--some items can be fairly expensive. Also, it's more of a tourist destination, so there is quite a variety of people there, not just from all over the U.S., but from around the world. Take care!
Bill
Bill,
Thanks for your sharing. I would like to see the Rachel, too. I have been to the Seattle three years ago. I didn't know the Pike Place at that time, so I didn't visit there. Hope I have a chance to go in the future.
Cynthia
I love the psychology of this post! Fun ending too :)
