Dear Teacher Bill
I totally agree with what you said! Most of the people I know, including me, tend to save happiness to the future. They always say "I'll do this when I have money." "I'll travel around when I retire." I'll....when I...." We say this all the time! (Sometimes, it's a kind of pathetic becuase we didn't enjoy everyday, every moment we had; we just hope our "dream-life" will come in the future. I just want to say, I like this clip a lot, and I'm telling myself that I ganna be happy every day.
Thanks for your comment Claire!
Too often we think happiness will come later when something else happens, or when we get something, or move somewhere. But we need to appreciate the good things that we have today. It's good to have goals, and make plans for the future, but waiting for happiness often leads to disappointment. Regarding money, there's a saying--"Money will make you more of what you are." So, having the right attitude can set the right course for us. Take care!
Bill
